There are so many Yonghe Soy Milk Shops in Taiwan.

Which one is the best? Or which is the oldest one?

Forget the above frame I tried to define what a fine food should be.

To me and most of the locals, we have the habit of going to the one which we grow up with or feel connected to because of the owner or the style.

Yonghe Soy Milk Shop, surrounded many stylish breakfast joints, is the one that still keep its early original appearance and its neighbor friends. (Where is its billboard? Or they don't even need one...)

Many customers are Yonghen, or lets say, Yonghe marketian, for Yonghe is a really big district.

Looks like the uncle is ready for the next round!! But have to finish the current round first.

Menu on the wall

This restaurant is likely to be a family business.

Mama is in charge of the signature Chinese omelet.

Papa is in charge of the oven.

Son is in charge of the field control.

Their cooperation perfectly manages the whole restaurant.

Mama friendly stepped backward and give me a smile after I asked for a photo:)

Silently stand by the oven, Papa is waiting for his new born Clay Oven Rolls. Made with love and patience, they must be amazing.

(Leek Clay Oven Rolls),NTD15

(Chinese Pastries with Sesame, Red Bean, Leek),NTD13/each

The homemade Galette is really chewy.

To fully feel its chewiness, get yourself a Double Galette!

This is the common table setting in the traditional joint.

Simple, yet equipped with anything you need for a local feast.

I’ve never sense its beauty until now.

[ Workout in the 823 Memorial Park after the breakfast! ]

Or you may jog along the park like the uncle~

(from the perspective of paparazzi )

Do the morning exercise in the phytoncid.

Started the stalls early in the chilling morning, they will do some exercise to warm themselves up.

This exercise is called, arms swinging. I guess.

You’ll definitely need the special windproof gloves when biking in the chilling day.

DVD is the best sheeting, smart and environmentally friendly.

And it’s always a good thing to give the scrap item a chance of second life.

"A gourmet adventurethrough Taiwanese breakfast. "

Here I talk about my morning date with breakfast. I always say, "It's the breakfast that wake me up in the morning, not clock."

In Taiwan, I wake up early for the inspiration popped up in the tiny jouney for breakfast.

When travelling or living in other countries, I wake up early for insights into local lives through breakfast.

Stay tuned!

You never know what comes up next morning!
